A few words to let you know whats happening at the club during the current lockdown .
We are continuing to pay the wages of our excellent Bar staff and have taken advantage of the Governments Job Retention Scheme . We have received payment for the first five weeks and will continue paying the staff a 100% of their normal wage .
Marstons our current supplier has said that they will replace all unopened barrels Free of Charge when the lockdown re Clubs ends .
BTSport and SkySport have not charged us since lockdown started and will continue to not charge until a decision is made re lockdown and sport .
We have successfully applied for the Retail , Hospitality and Leisure Grant , which we should receive in the next couple of days .
Along with our reserves the club is in a strong position to weather this crisis over the next few months if needed .
Whilst the club is closed we are continuing to monitor the clubhouse and presently the water damage sustained in the winter is now being repaired after the flat roof and guttering has been repaired . The bowling green has now been handed back to the club and this is being maintained by the bowling members .
